Best Edition To Burn In Brutal Rapture with Free PDF EDITION!

Look, this review will have spoilers because if I had read a review like this, I would have skipped the book. If you read romance and expect certain things (a love that feels incredibly true) then you will NOT like this one.SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERSLike another review said, Traci is the consolation prize and no way in heck do I ever enjoy reading romance where the h is the consolation prize. I don’t care how nice of an epilogue you try to throw me, she was never Lazarus’s first choice. She was merely his default choice. And even IN THE EPILOGUE, he looks at her and enjoys seeing her father’s face because THAT is who he is hopelessly in love with. Yes, her FATHER. So how did he end up with her? Did he pursue her? Ha! Did he beg for forgiveness when he cut her off and ignored her for months (but calling/texting/emailing and seeking forgiveness from her father)? Nope. He ends up with her because the dad conveniently dies while en route to be with him. Basically, if Damien hadn’t gotten killed in a car accident, Lazarus and Damien (again, the h’s FATHER) would have had their HEA even though Lazarus had been sleeping with Traci. He ends up with Traci because Traci has no self respect and takes any little crumbs he tosses her way. She is like that the ENTIRE book. So so pathetic.And look, I enjoy M/M romances. I enjoy menages of many variations. But do not sell me a M/F romance and sucker punch me 90% in with a M/M twist (yes, Lazarus and Damien are intimate). It is not a nice feeling. You will only make me feel betrayed and root for NO ONE. You can’t root for Laz and Damine either because the whole book was making you root for Laz and Traci so it didn’t feel authentic when Damien was tossed in the mix. It was so unnecessary; felt like a gimmick just to be racy and different.
